Explore fun ways to switch the lead dancer in lead and follow styles.
Beginners and all Improvisational Belly Dance styles welcome. Your weekend hostess Sherry teaches both traditional Belly Dance and Global Caravan formats throughout SW Florida. A Principal Teacher and Level 5 certified Global Caravan Instructor, she is Director of Caravan Project SWFL (GC sister studio) and member of the International Global Caravan Dance Company.

Short Silk Fans for Improv Dancers with Gina Marie

Immerse yourself in the magical world of improv dancing with silk fans during this enriching 2-hour workshop with Gina Marie, certified FCBD Style instructor and sister studio of 15 years! Beginner or experienced dancer, this workshop promises to inspire and empower you on your dance journey. Don't miss this unique opportunity to learn from one of the industry's finest instructors and elevate your dance repertoire to new heights!

Vintage Bellydance Delight with Alina (optional Zils)

Old school classic moves woven into fun juicy combinations that you can incorporate into any improvisational format. Using inspiration from iconic dancers such as Jamila Salimpour and Tamalyn Dallal, Alina has created fun combinations with optional Zil patterns that can be added to your own improvisational group bellydance repertoire. This class is all levels as moves can be layered.

Deeply Rooted :: Earthy Combos with Misha
Included in Weekend Package; ala cart $40 advance, $45 after Sept 13/cash at door
Misha brings fabulously folkloric-inspired fun with a selection of movements that evoke a grounded and rooted connection to the Earth. This class will harken back to the roots of both bellydance and group improv, to a time where the community came together to dance as one. While the material will highlight Global Caravan vocabulary, we will then take the movements and apply them in improv formations and flow that will work great for any style. All levels of dancers are welcome in this workshop as we will add different layers for different levels.
