Have fun learning the ancient art & modern styles of this dynamic dance with
Na'ila (Sherry Coffey), 2002 Middle Eastern & Mediterranean
Danse Orientale Award recipient.
Na'ila has been teaching classes and performing at restaurants throughout Southwest Florida since 1996, and has been featured in area magazines, papers and TV segments.
Styles include Arabic, Greek, American Cabaret, Tribal and Tribal Fusion. Props are also taught, including veil and wings, finger cymbals, cane, fan, candles, sword, etc. along with
costuming and make-up, rhythms and drumming instruction.
Belly Dancing is a great way to tone the whole body and improve posture, flexibily and coordination. It's a wonderful for stress relief and can be a creative outlet, an empowering and artistic expression of femininity.
Regular weekly classes are offered in series of varying lengths, in addition to workshops. Registration is usually held on-site starting about 15 minutes prior to class time, except for classes noting pre-registation. Credit cards cannot be accepted at the Naples location, or for costume items outside of Cape Coral.
Classes at your location and private instruction are also available.
ATTIRE: Please wear comfortable workout clothes and bare feet or dance shoes. Form-fitting clothing is helpful but you don't have to show your belly. Hip scarves, class music and other supplies are optional and are available for purchase from the instructor.
